Diana Navarro is a Shareholder with Sprott Newsom Quattlebaum Messenger, having been with the firm since 2013. She has worked in the legal industry for over 12 years, representing clients in cases involving healthcare litigation, appellate matters, and other civil litigation. Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, she is a native Spanish speaker and prides herself on providing sophisticated bilingual representation to clients across the state of Texas.

Diana is results driven. She is known for being a hard worker, and an effective communicator both in and outside the courtroom. She has over a decade of experience as a trial attorney, including handling cases for a variety of major carriers and companies on a first chair basis. She has represented health care professionals before a variety of regulatory agencies, including the Texas Medical Board, Dental Board and Nursing Board, to name a few. She provides general counsel assistance to local health care clinics demonstrating her expansive knowledge in the areas of healthcare risk management. Throughout her career, Diana’s clients have appreciated her ability to secure positive outcomes in regulatory, trial and appellate settings.

Diana graduated from Trinity University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology where she was a National Hispanic Scholarship recipient and selected to the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Subsequently, she earned her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law.  During law school, she achieved a Pro Bono Certificate and was selected for inclusion on the Dean’s List and for membership in Phi Delta Phi, an international legal honor society that is among the oldest legal organizations in continuous existence in the United States.

She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Texas. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association, Mexican American Bar Association of Houston, Hispanic Bar Association of Houston, Trinity University Alumni Association, Houston Claims Association, and Greater Houston Society for Healthcare Risk Management.

Outside of work, Diana has volunteered her time with BARC, Houston Food Bank, and RAICES, among other groups. She also serves as the Firm Liaison and Organizer for “BEARing Gifts” Holiday Toy Drive. In addition to her legal work and community involvement, she is an accomplished singer. She studied vocal performance in college and sang in choirs throughout high school and college.
