Clayton A. Sanders is an associate attorney at Sprott Newsom Quattlebaum Messenger, where he focuses his practice on civil litigation, including complex commercial and personal injury matters. He represents individuals and businesses in all phases of a case, from early investigation and strategy through settlement or trial.

Before joining the firm, Clayton worked in the securities industry and in oil and gas, experience that gives him a practical understanding of the financial and regulatory issues that frequently arise in litigation. He has been involved in matters touching securities regulation, probate, and energy-related disputes, which inform his detail-oriented and business-minded approach to advocacy.

A native East Texan, Clayton earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The University of Texas at Tyler and his law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston.
