G. Troy Pickett Associate

G. Troy Pickett is an attorney with Sprott Newsom Quattlebaum Messenger, focusing his practice on healthcare litigation, general representation of those in the healthcare industry and appeals. He has worked in the legal profession for over 11 years representing clients in civil, family and appellate matters. Troy continues to represent select clients in family law matters and family appellate cases across Texas.

He graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with degrees in Radio/Television/Film (B.S. 2002) and Government (B.A. 2005) and earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2010, graduating cum laude. While at South Texas, Troy served as the Student Bar President and as an editor on the South Texas Law Review. After graduation, Troy was recognized as a SuperLawyers Rising Star from 2015 through 2020.

Committed to providing outstanding legal representation to his clients in negotiations, litigation and through the appellate process, Troy strives to be both prepared and creative in his practice. He has extensive courtroom experience and has been recognized for his tenacious defense of his clients.

Troy is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts and the Southern District of Texas at the Federal level. Troy has handled appeals in the First, Fourteenth, Ninth and Eleventh Texas Courts of Appeals.

Outside of work, Troy is the proud father of a precocious toddler, grateful husband and lifelong Longhorn fan.
