Robert Carpenter Shareholder

Robert W. Carpenter has been an attorney with Sprott Newsom Quattlebaum Messenger since 2018. He is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

Before attending law school, Mr. Carpenter worked as a high school English teacher coaching many student sports. Through this work, he developed a skill for wrangling people, working hard across long hours, and getting things done. In his current position, he focuses on the healthcare industry, finding it important to put himself in his clients’ shoes and ask himself how he would want to be treated if he were in their situation, always remembering that each matter impacts a client’s life. He is tenacious and prides himself on finding the best solution to the complicated issues at hand, always putting in the extra time or effort required.

Mr. Carpenter graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in English, with minors in History and Philosophy. Subsequently, he earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston.

He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, and the Greater Houston Society for Healthcare Risk Management. Outside of work he has rescued many dogs, including his four current pets and is a proud Eagle Scout.
