Tina E. Ohanian Shareholder

Tina Ohanian has been an attorney with Sprott Newsom Quattlebaum Messenger since 2016, focusing her practice on representing healthcare providers and facilities. Tina has always been interested in law. She successfully argued her first case as a pro-se party when she was just a college student. Tina began working in the legal industry in 2007 and has experience in multiple jurisdictions, including California and Florida. She decided to practice law in her birth state of Texas to be near her family. Tina is admitted to practice in all state courts in Texas, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern, and Eastern Districts of Texas. She also focuses on representing dentists, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers before various regulatory boards in Austin, Texas.

Tina hit the ground running from the moment she became licensed to practice law, including working on appeals within just one year of being with our firm. In her first year of practice, she was victorious in defending our client before an appellate court resulting in not only the dismissal of the case against our client, but also awarded $22,000 in attorneys fees and costs against the plaintiff. By her second year, she presented oral arguments before an appellate court, resulting in the dismissal of all claims against our client. Tina’s hard work is reflected in the multiple appeals and regulatory board matters that she has successfully defended in our clients’ favor.

Tina’s devotion to advocate for healthcare providers is in part due to her sister, who is a dentist. Tina personally witnessed her sister’s hard work and dedication from the moment she began her journey in healthcare. She understands the role healthcare providers undertake in order to practice medicine, which is an art and constantly evolving. Tina dives into her cases and leaves no stone unturned to find the best defense for our clients.
